Description

The solid-colored cotton sheets from the Basic series are woven with 100% combed cotton 144 threads on modern looms and offer sleeping comfort as they are soft to the touch, breathable, and cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

With the special easy iron treatment, they will require minimal ironing if you iron them immediately after drying.

The selected new generation colors-dyes used offer a guarantee of hygiene.

What is combed cotton?

Combed cotton – yarn is a process of "cleaning" the cotton from many substances, unnecessary materials, dust, etc.

This results in a very smooth and soft yarn as the fibers are more aligned, making the fabric soft with very vibrant colors and long-lasting durability.

Care

  • Wash at 40 degrees on a gentle cycle.
  • If washing for the first time, remove from packaging, fully open them – spread them on the bed – and put them in the washing machine after crumpling them. Never put sheets in the washing machine as they are in their original packaging.
  • For the first 2-3 washes, place the sheets/pillowcases inside out in the washing machine. That is, if it is a pillowcase, turn it inside out so that the good side does not come into contact with the drum of the washing machine. This way, you will avoid lines on the design from contact with the drum, zippers from other clothes, etc.
  • Use a medium, not strong, detergent – preferably liquid – for cotton fabrics/clothes.
  • Do not overfill the washing machine; there should be enough space for water and detergent to move around.
  • Remove the sheets as soon as the washing machine finishes. This way, you will avoid creases and problems with stains/discoloration from contact with other clothes.
  • Dry naturally, not in strong sunlight or in a dryer at medium temperature.
  • Sheets/pillowcases should be washed frequently (every week) for hygiene reasons and to extend their lifespan. Skin microorganisms and airborne dust stick to the fibers of the sheets, and if not washed frequently, they reduce the lifespan of the fabrics (they wear out quickly).
  • Iron the sheets first from the inside out and then from the good side. This way, you will need less time overall to achieve a perfect result.

Storage

To keep them soft, it is important to store them in a ventilated closet that is free of moisture and to ensure they are well dried before storage.

If you are going to store them for a long period (more than 2, 3 months), it is very important to wash, dry, iron them, and store them in a cotton fabric bag that is not tightly sealed.

    I have black Nef-Nef sheets and pillowcases. I like the texture. If you get another intense color, buy dye powder and read the instructions, that way they will come out darker. I need to buy more Nef-Nef products because of their texture.
