About half a month of owning DCS. I have two negatives to highlight, which may be specific to this particular piece. The button on the joystick for bombs (under the red cover) shakes when turned on at certain angles [Resolved on its own as I opened and closed the cover]. On the thrust handle, one of the two rotating knobs (which I use for zoom in/out) shakes the zoom in certain positions [Resolved with software intervention]. Otherwise, it has a large number of buttons, and with the 3+3 Modes (which can be expanded using switches and clutches for combinations), it becomes quite complex if needed. I already have trouble remembering half of the buttons in one Mode out of the initial 3, but I believe it will become much easier with use. Unfortunately, especially in simulation games, some kind of tracking or VR is needed for a better gaming experience. I got the Tobii 5 for this, but I'm not 100% satisfied, so I recommend the TrackIR 5 instead.

Regarding the two previous negatives, I have to note that the shaking button is a problem with the joystick, which resolved on its own. As for the second issue (zoom in/out), the problem appears in all rotating knobs due to minor fluctuations in the current and is caused by the materials used. It seems to occur in all x52 controllers, while other more expensive ones don't seem to have this specific problem. Overall, I am satisfied, but from what I see on YouTube, other DCS players handle it more smoothly than me, maybe due to experience or better controllers.

A few days ago, I submitted a warranty claim for the aforementioned issues. Although the Greek store where I purchased it refused to replace it, despite the recommendation from Logitech to replace the faulty package, Logitech itself sent me a new piece, which I received yesterday. My impressions are that both controllers function the same!

While I have solved all the problems months ago, I forgot to update the review. The issues with current fluctuations (shaking in the control panel) were resolved with software intervention, specifically by filtering the fluctuations to prevent them from appearing during operation. Now the experience is as it should be. I also fixed the Tobii Eye 5 to track correctly with other programs and motion filters, and now everything is in place. Yes, it took a lot of effort, I agree. The companies' programs are terrible, and the support is awful, as well as the nature of specialized interventions. But... now everything works correctly, with enough research, experimentation, and frustration.
Περίπου στον μισό μήνα κατοχής για DCS. 2 αρνητικά έχω να ξεχωρίσω που ίσως είναι στο συγκεκριμένο κομμάτι. Το κουμπί στο joystick για τις βόμβες (κάτω από το κόκκινο προστατευτικό) όταν είναι αναμμένο σε ορισμένες γωνίες τρεμοπαίζει [Λύθηκε μόνο του καθώς ανοιγόκλεινα το προστατευτικό του]. Στο thrust handle το ένα από τα δύο στρεφόμενα ρυθμιστικά (το χρησιμοποιώ για zoom in/out) σε ορισμένες θέσεις τρεμοπαίζει το zoom [Λύθηκε με software παρέμβαση]. Κατά τα άλλα μεγάλος αριθμός κουμπιών που με τα 3+3 Modes (που μπορούν να γίνουν πολύ παραπάνω χρησιμοποιώντας switches και clutches για συνδυασμό) το κάνουν αρκετά περίπλοκο αν χρειαστεί. Ήδη έχω πρόβλημα να θυμηθώ τα μισά κουμπιά ενός Mode από τα 3 αρχικά, αλλά πιστεύω με τη χρήση θα γίνει πολύ πιο εύκολο. Δυστυχώς ειδικά σε simulation παιχνίδια χρειάζεται και καποιου είδους tracking ή VR για καλύτερη απόδοση της εμπειρίας. Πήρα το tobii 5 γι'αυτό, αλλά δεν είμαι 100% ευχαριστημένος, προτιμήστε το TrackIR 5 καλύτερα.

Από τα δυο προηγούμενα αρνητικά έχω να σημειώσω ότι το κουμπί που τρεμοπαίζει είναι πρόβλημα του joystick, το οποίο λύθηκε μόνο του, για το 2ο (zoom in/out) το πρόβλημα εμφανίζεται σε όλα τα στρεφόμενα ρυθμιστικά λόγω μικροδιακυμάνσεων στο ρεύμα και είναι λόγω των υλικών που χρησιμοποιούνται. Εμφανίζονται δε σε όλα τα τύπου x52 χειριστήρια, ενώ άλλα πιο ακριβότερα δεν φαίνεται να παρουσιάζουν το συγκεκριμένο πρόβλημα. Γενικά ευχαριστημένος είμαι, αλλά από ότι βλέπω στο youtube άλλοι παίκτες του DCS πιλοτάρουν πιο "ομαλά" από εμένα, ίσως λόγω εμπειρίας, ίσως λόγω καλύτερων χειριστηρίων.

Πριν λίγες ημέρες υπέβαλλα αίτημα προβλήματος εντός εγγύησης για τα παραπάνω προβλήματα και ενώ το ελληνικό κατάστημα που το αγόρασα αρνήθηκε την αντικατάσταση παρόλο που υπήρχε και η γνωμάτευση από την logitech για αλλαγή του ελαττωματικού πακέτου, η ίδια η logitech μου έστειλε καινούριο κομμάτι που παρέλαβα χθες. Οι εντυπώσεις μου είναι ότι και τα δυο χειριστήρια λειτουργούν το ίδιο!

Ενώ έχω λύσει όλα τα προβλήματα εδώ και μήνες, ξέχασα να ενημερώσω την αξιολόγηση. Τα προβλήματα με τη διακύμανση του ρεύματος (τρεμόπαιγμα στο control panel) λύθηκαν με software παρέμβαση και ειδικότερα με φιλτράρισμα των διακυμάνσεων για να μην εμφανίζονται στο χειρισμό. Τώρα η εμπειρία είναι όπως πρέπει να είναι. Έφτιαξα και το TOBI EYE 5 να παρακολουθεί σωστά με άλλα προγράμματα και φίλτρα κίνησης και τώρα είναι όλα στη θέση τους. Ναι πολύς κόπος, συμφωνώ. Και τα προγράμματα των εταιριών τραγικά και η υποστήριξη τραγική και το είδος των παρεμβάσεων εξειδικευμένο. Αλλά... τώρα λειτουργούν όλα σωστά, με αρκετή έρευνα, πειραματισμούς και νεύρα.
