The DeWalt DCS570NT-XJ is a powerful, ergonomic, and reliable cordless brushless circular saw from the XR series (18 V), with a large cutting capacity of up to 64 mm, bevel adjustments up to 57°, LED lighting, motor brake, and high performance. It is supplied without battery/charger, but comes with a practical T-STAK case, making it an excellent addition to an existing 18 V XR battery system.

Brushless Motor

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.
