Rigas, during his first visit to Vienna in 1790, as the secretary and interpreter of Christophorou Kirlianou, published his two books "School of Delicate Lovers" and "Anthology of Physics". The first book must have been ready before his arrival in Vienna, as inferred from its preface, where he notes that he hopes his readers will receive it favorably so that he can attempt to publish another work.

Furthermore, we have noted that during his stay in Vienna, he was still completing the text of "Anthology of Physics". Also, in his preface "To the Readers", Rigas provides important information about his writing activity. He emphasizes that his book "School of Delicate Lovers" is his first work and "the beginning of his efforts", as he writes, translating French texts with romantic stories, without mentioning an author, which at that time were circulating in Europe.
