Purchased on October 1, 2024, worn Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday for hare hunting until January 10 (hunts on rocky terrain but not always, many times I hunt on soil and ambush, not always riding the dogs). After that, worn until mid-March for pruning without strain (pruning on a ladder, plumbing work) and 30 training sessions—up to that point, everything was fine. Worn again from September 15 until today, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday for hunting, not at all in the field. (I wear others.)

Positives: After 2 pairs of Meindl (Vakum and Himalaya GTX), 1 pair of Lowa, 2 pairs of Aku (Treker Pro and Super Alp), the difference in grip was noticeable, by far the best!!! Fully waterproof, nothing gets through even after hours in wet grass or rain with gaiters, and quite warm!

Negatives: For the past month, the shoe has started to open at the perimeter rubber, the sole has started to open at the front toe, and today the sole burst on the right between the sole and midsole.

In terms of grip and quality, very good and comfortable even with a lot of walking. BUT... at €400 on average depending on the store, I personally can't justify the wear within 13 months, and not worn every day—they are the only ones out of all I've worn so far that have worn out so quickly, and from what I see, they'll last this year and next year I'll need new ones.
I might have given them 3 stars due to their comfort in wearing, walking, and standing, but it's too much money for how long they lasted!!

Returning today. The shoes were sent to the representative, and he said it's not the shoe's fault but the customer's, and if they don't replace them in Italy, I'll be stuck with the shoe I return... so he preferred that I be stuck with the €400 I spent! A friend whose Meindl Butan pairs were defective three times had them replaced by Touris, and the fourth time he didn't bother to return them. In my opinion, it's not possible for a €400 shoe to be worn for 7.5 months, suffer this damage, and get such treatment... stay away...!

After 2 pairs of Meindl in 15 years of hunting, I took a risk and bought the Nevada GTX. The difference in hiking and foot support was immediately noticeable. They were purchased for €370 and are truly worth every last euro.

Excellent boot the fact that you pay you get here applies 100% * use purely for agricultural work with plenty of cold and moisture morning hours or after rain feet remained warm and dry in the heat also with woolen socks there was no trace of moisture a sturdy boot even in uneven terrain you do not feel the slightest on your ankle in wet and plowed soil with several hours of walking 8+ (in furrows) although I have knee issues and with other brands I was suffering I felt absolutely nothing I returned home with completely rested feet as if I hadn't worked every time I clean them it's like I just took them out of the box for winter use in mud, mud, and water I recommend it blindly it is the best boot I have worn for this job it is worth every penny

What you pay, you get, says the people. I bought it if I remember correctly in 2005. Used for hare hunting in the mountains and then in the box. THEY HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANYTHING. This year I'm thinking of putting soles with a cost of 60 euros.
