The volumes Z' and H' come to complement the History of Greek literature and its reception with the terms defined in the "Introduction" of the work, or, to put it simply, with the intention of presenting the historical and comparative picture of the trends, schools, and mindsets that have traversed Greek literature from 1918 to 1963.
The Z' and H' volumes examine the eleven-year period from 1964 to 1974, during which the reception of the authors who had been presented until then in the creative literary field is completed. However, since the authors included in the work continue to contribute to their field, in line with the logical consistency of this work, their literary biographies are tracked up until 2006, without restrictions on individuals.
In short, this multi-volume work aspires to provide the evolution of Greek literature in a way that allows the reader to participate in the process and verify it, as the excerpts serve as indicative elements, more or less capable of conveying the atmosphere of the time.
