Everything is fine, but in terms of build quality... Terrible, 6 months later and as soon as I put them on, they broke! I always took care of them and they don't even have a scratch. The plastic above the cushion that rests on the head cracked and came off, where I was surprised to discover that it is only that, a piece of plastic that the cable passes through! Oh no, man, they released 100 euro headphones and the quality is like Chinese products. Disappointment, I regret spending my money. I think I won't pay for anything expensive anymore, if it's always going to break in a mediocre way, it's the same thing in the end!
Two years later and they have a problem with the USB connection, the connection is lost for a while and then the sound quality deteriorates. The same thing happens with different cables...

Although I usually prefer and recommend ASUS for many things, from keyboards to motherboards and even mobile phones, this time I was disappointed. I cannot give more than three stars when I have purchased three other headphones from ASUS that were much better and worth every euro.

I have the Cerberus, the Vulkan ANC Pro, and the Strix DSP. I am very satisfied with these three and would rate them 5/5. The reason I bought the Fusion 300 is because the cable of the Valkan got pulled because it got caught in the wheels of my chair.

    - The Fusion has very good sound, clear without distortion. The bass is strong but not overpowering, so you can hear details like footsteps without them being overshadowed.
    - The microphone is good. Actually, I didn't notice any difference compared to the other headphones I have, probably because ASUS used the same design for almost all of them. Another good thing is that the microphone is hidden in the headphone, so when you have it folded, it is closed, and when you bring it down, it opens again.
    - They come with two types of ear cushions, one made of leather and one made of fabric, which can be easily changed without having to detach the headphones. This way, you can choose the one that suits you.
    - The headphones are large and cover the ears comfortably without causing fatigue.
    - Since they have a USB connection, the headphones can be used with both PCs and consoles.
    - Their construction is sturdy and they feel great in the hand.

Now, up until here... I couldn't see anything better. From here on, the negatives.

    - The headphones, priced at 100+ euros, do not have Noise Cancelling, neither passive nor active. The Vulkan, which I bought for 122 euros, has active Noise Cancelling.
    - The microphone does not have Beam Forming, meaning it does not focus on the angle of sound reception, so it picks up surrounding noises.
    - The headphones have 7.1 Surround, but it is not hardware-based, they do not have smaller drivers. The 7.1 is software-based, and the headphones simulate the 7.1 sound. This presents a problem, as when you play, the headphones seem to not know where to play the sound, especially noticeable in games with cars. For example, a car can be behind you, but you hear it from above.
    - The 7.1 only works through the USB port and not the 3.5mm, and even then, you cannot adjust it. So far, I have tried the included 3.5mm combo, but I have also ordered a 3.5mm splitter for a 7.1 setup to try it with a sound card.
    - The headphones do not have software from Asus for the 7.1 when you connect them via USB to adjust them, and any changes can only be made through Windows, which is not the best.

Interestingly, the headphones perform exceptionally well on my Xbox One. It seems that Asus designed them mainly for consoles.

Although I lean towards Asus preference, I cannot recommend this product at this price. If someone wants headphones from Asus, then they should get the Cerberus or the Strix DSP.

If someone wants the headphones for gaming on their computer, then they should wait for a discount or a price drop. If they want them for gaming on a console, then I believe they are worth the money.
