This review is about the colour: Brown

While it is a very sturdy construction as mentioned and until now I thought what a good choice we made. I have to say that one day my little one spilled her water on the table and it fell a little on the wood it sits on. It took about half an hour when I saw it and went to clean it and the "wood" had swollen. I wiped it off and fortunately it didn't suffer any damage, but it needs attention to be wiped immediately. I would have expected a slightly better quality wood for its price and to last longer.

update (we sold it at 6 months and did not go back to something similar)

Quality construction, heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. However, it is not suitable for a 6-month-old baby and I will explain why.

On the one hand, the incline at which the child sits and the tolerances of the safety belts allow the child to slide even further forward, resulting in them ending up diagonally lying down in a position unsuitable for eating. At 7 months, the situation is better but their position does not compare to other much cheaper high chairs. The above is made even more difficult by the extra cushion, which as far as I understand is not made to work with the 5-point harness and which slides a lot on the seat.

Finally, the assembly instructions are poor regarding the 5-point harness, which is different from what is shown in the instructions, combined with the passive belt, and it is a bit of a puzzle until you figure out how it goes through.

I would not recommend it for small children. I hope they enjoy it at an older age. For now, we have managed with plastic high chairs costing 20 and 30 euros in which they sit 100 times better.

Very mixed feelings! The first purchase was made for my niece in early 2018. Very good quality construction, and generally only positive impressions.

In mid-2020, we bought a second one for our little one. The first one stayed at my parents' house (where it is used when they are there), while we took the new one to our home. From the beginning, the wood looks different... Like some pieces in the new one are "pressed sheets," and the old one is "solid." Specifically, I had an issue with the upper part of the back where the wood "splintered/broke" at the points where the screws go in!! I will acknowledge that the little one is a bit "rough" and sometimes does something intense, and I will also acknowledge that my mother-in-law pulled the seat with the little one on it from there 3-4 times... but still, I have the feeling that it shouldn't happen like this, especially when the older one didn't have any problems.

Now, in terms of comfort, functionality, and usefulness, it is simply awesome!! Stable, fully adjustable, and with the accessory (extra) of the large tray (alpha tray), the little one doesn't mind sitting for a long time because he has his space to play on top of it.
