Description

The book "Automotive Technology" aims to help the student understand the technical processes and interdependencies of the various systems of the car. This work attempts to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge for their practical application.

This book is also intended to serve the technician, the foreman, and the engineer as a manual for extracting information and supplementing their specialized knowledge. Additionally, this work aims to broaden knowledge through self-teaching for all those who show interest in automobiles.

The level of the book has been adjusted to the current level of technology. Furthermore, this edition has been supplemented and expanded with chapters on Motorcycle Technology, Truck - Bus Technology, Electronics for Comfort and Safety, as well as Measurements and Testing.

From the vast amount of material, topics have been selected whose content meets the requirements of new professions. The authors paid particular attention to a clear and comprehensible presentation, which is achieved with a multitude of images, sketches, diagrams, and charts.

More detailed presentations and explanations are provided, in addition to the functional processes and interdependencies, for the electrical and hydraulic circuits. This facilitates the student's understanding and deepening of interest in the complex content of automotive technology.
