    Stay away from Synology. The worst software I have ever seen. The backup freezes on the client side once every two months without any other solution than reinstalling the client and consequently setting up the entire backup from scratch. It backs up folders that I have set not to be backed up and doesn't back up the ones I want. Overall, the program running on the PC is very unstable and unreliable. The support from the company is non-existent, and the only way to find a solution to your problems is through the community forum, where if someone is willing to help, otherwise you're on your own. The hardware is not very powerful, although this depends on the model that each person has (this particular one definitely isn't), and ultimately it is extremely overpriced for what it offers (if I could set up some VMs or Docker, I would see it differently, but to have such capabilities, the price almost doubles). I was very disappointed, and at the first opportunity, I will set up a file server with TrueNas Core. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the knowledge and willingness to invest a little more.
