Instructions for easier use of the dictionary:
1. The dictionary is written in the modern Greek language with a monotonic system.
2. The entry is written in bold characters. The same applies to derivatives and expressions listed.
3. The entry is replaced by the symbol ~, where there are examples or expressions, for space-saving reasons.
4. The pronunciation is enclosed in brackets and rendered with Greek characters in the Norwegian-Greek part and with Latin characters in the Greek-Norwegian part, making the dictionary more user-friendly.
5. For each entry, there is a brief grammatical designation (e.g., noun).
6. Where necessary, explanatory terms have been used (e.g., medical). (from the book's preface)
