Real Filament ABS 3D printing filament is produced in the Netherlands and designed as a pure base material for 3D printing. It is a thermoplastic with a slightly flexible structure, resistance to gasoline and an opaque finish, and has a higher glass transition temperature than PLA.

ABS has high shrinkage and requires more care when printing. A heated build plate is required, and a heated chamber is recommended. Printing may produce a strong chemical odor, so a well-ventilated area is essential. The recommended extrusion temperature is 245 °C, with extrusion possible from 220 °C, although layer adhesion is weaker at lower temperatures.
