Description

ABS Gold Filament 1.75 mm 1000 g for high-quality 3D printers, produced in the Netherlands. Real filaments guarantee that the ABS is of high quality and with a consistent diameter, providing the best 3D printing experience.

A heated bed is generally required for printing with ABS, and a heated chamber is preferred. In the Real filament ABS series, ABS plus and Pro are also available, making printing easier. ABS is a pure base material, optimized for 3D printing, delivering the best possible performance.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) has been used for 3D printing for many years. It was the most popular 3D printing material, but due to the properties of ABS, including high shrinkage, it is challenging to work with. Compared to other materials, ABS retains certain advantages, such as its resistance to gasoline, opacity, and its soft, flexible thermoplastic nature.

In comparison to PLA, it has a much higher glass transition temperature. ABS is an oil-based product, making it less environmentally friendly than PLA, and during printing, it can produce an unpleasant chemical odor, so it is recommended to use it in well-ventilated areas.

This filament will require more effort to print correctly. If you are using ABS to print small strong parts, you can do so by using 3DLAC at temperatures between 65-80 degrees on the heated bed. Kapton tape is another product where ABS can be printed, but it will require higher temperatures around 110 degrees.

For extruding the filament, a temperature of 245 degrees is recommended, although it can be extruded as low as 220 degrees, the bonding of the layers will not be as strong. For larger prints, you should consider PETG filament first, as without a heated chamber, you will not be able to print this material without warping and cracking.

The worst. Not only are they not carefully stored and kept in humidity, they have polymerized before even arriving and came in pieces. IF it is even ABS because it's the first time I've seen it break as if it were PLA. STAY AWAY

This review is about the colour: Grey

In the Ender 3v2 with 100 settings from Cura, it doesn't work at all. It constantly clogs and when it does function, it doesn't produce good prints, they are weak and detach as they are being made.
