PETG Transparent Yellow 1.75 mm 500 g filament for 3D printers. It is a product of exceptional quality, manufactured in the Netherlands. PETG offers an excellent 3D printing experience, as it is ideal for beginners and new users, with easy printing and strong results.
The base material is very clear, providing semi-transparent results. PETG has excellent temperature resistance, as the optimal print temperature is high. If there is excessive stringing, it is advisable to try a higher temperature.
PET-G (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a very durable, water-repellent thermoplastic that delivers beautiful, glossy results. It combines the advantages of ABS and PLA, making it very popular for 3D printing.
Printing with PETG is almost as easy as with PLA, requiring a bit more attention. The bond with itself is very strong, so the first layer should be pressed just like PLA, as the material can create a "ball" around the print head.
The adhesion between layers is excellent, providing durable and flexible results, rather than brittle like PLA. PETG does not stick very well to other materials, as the glue does not have good adhesion. An additional advantage of PETG is that neutral palettes are almost transparent like glass, allowing us to offer stunningly transparent colors.
Printing with PET-G can be done with or without a heated bed, with minimal or no warping. It is recommended to use a heated bed at 65 degrees, as the printed result may detach automatically when cooled. The optimal extrusion temperature is 245 degrees, as a lower temperature will lead to more stringing.
