I have not dealt with the UFC title in the past, I bought it mainly because after searching I found it interesting for quick gaming during the day but mainly I got it to play with friends. I currently do not have PS Plus so I will not talk at all about the online aspect. As for the single player, I find it very addictive as it has truly endless athletes to choose from, each with their own fighting style which is limited to a general pattern of movement and strikes, but each athlete has their own statistics and characteristics. The range of movements is large, there are many combinations of strikes, evasions, holds, and footwork that take time to reach a good level, but it is worked out to a desired level and you quickly understand its logic, especially through training and guiding videos. Options for how the fight will take place, at what stage, at what difficulty level, how many rounds, with what outfit, etc., are available and make the game more enjoyable. There is also a career mode with a player that you can create yourself and make it literally as you wish. As for the graphics, they are satisfactory as one would expect for 2018 standards, with nice animations in the expressions of the athletes when they feel pain or get tired. In terms of sound, I can't say I was impressed, some sound effects in strikes sound completely fake, but it is something that is easily overlooked. Unfortunately, on the PS4 Slim I own, the framerate is locked at 30fps, something that is not often encountered in fighting and FPS titles, as these specific categories aim for 60fps even on conventional consoles, but those who have the Pro will enjoy the game at faster rates. In conclusion, as a game it is worth it, with friends I can say that it is quite entertaining, but even alone it can keep you busy for many hours. At the price it is currently at, it is a good purchase and I managed to get mine through a PS Store offer for 20 euros so I consider it value for money even at its current price.

I have had a year of PS Plus since late October and since then I have been playing online daily. Although the AI in offline mode is very honest and very challenging at the most difficult difficulty level, as soon as you start playing online, you will find a huge difference and you will have to become flawless in order to win. Technically it is fine and the player base, looking every time I search for a match, ranges from 4000-16000 active users depending on the time, so there is a lot of people, although there are many times when I have unjustified to even tragic lag in rarer cases and I think it may be due to the matchmaking which may not be properly balanced with the distances because my current connection is fiber OTE 100mbps with ethernet cable 24/7 so I imagine the technical problems come from the game. In conclusion, after some time, I can say that it is very worth it and it is very addictive, especially online and multiplayer with friends, you will not regret it.

It is definitely the best fighting game right now on PS4, a faithful copy of UFC. First of all, I bought the game from the PS store for the price of 20 euros, which is an amazing price for what you get! Before this, I had played UFC 2 extensively. The truth is, when I first opened it and started playing, I was a bit disappointed with the gameplay and especially the controls, as they are much more complex and difficult compared to the previous UFC series. However, once I started learning the game, I couldn't stop playing. I can spend endless hours just playing matches, as the game has a huge variety of submissions, takedowns, knockouts, and all these MMA moves. After many hours of playing, I feel captivated by UFC 3 and I have to say that EA has done a great job with the game. Initially, it has nothing to do with UFC 2. The controls are much more difficult but also much more realistic. There were moments when I felt like I was watching a real UFC match and that excited me. Of course, there are some negatives, such as the sound, for example, where they could have done a better job. The sound of the game is fine, but sometimes, due to FPS drops, the sound gets distorted and it affects the overall experience. Also, I would like Bruce Buffer's voice to be louder, as the crowd often covers it with their cheers. The overall impression I have of the game is very good, as EA has improved it incredibly and added a great career mode, which is much better now. They also added a few weight-in and interview cutscenes between the athletes, which I would prefer to see in almost every fight because that's what spices up UFC after all. Finally, I will say that if the game had a few more additional things, I would rate it with 5 stars. For example, some cutscenes from behind the scenes before the fighters come out, more referees, and more active referees, meaning they would stop a fight like in real UFC because as it is now, it is one of the few unrealistic things. But even the post-fight interviews given by the athletes could be a pleasant addition to the game. To summarize, I would give it a 4 out of 5. It is an excellent effort by EA, and I think they have built a solid foundation for the next UFC title! I hope this helps!
