    Gas Ram

    The Gas-Ram (or gas piston, gas strut) is an internal propulsion mechanism that replaces the traditional metal spring in spring-piston airguns. It is placed inside the cylinder and consists of a sealed piston with compressed gas (usually nitrogen or inert gas). When you cock the pistol, the piston is compressed; when you fire, the gas expands and pushes the piston to propel the pellet.

    Its advantages are:

    • Longer lifespan compared to some conventional springs
    • Lower noise and smoother operation
    • Reduced recoil
    • Immediately ready at low temperatures
    • More linear behavior during cocking/firing, easier cocking in some guns.
    • Less maintenance required compared to broken/damaged springs.

It features both single and double-action triggers, allowing the first shot to be fired without cocking the hammer. After the first shot, and for each subsequent shot, the trigger operates in single-action mode, requiring the user to cock the hammer to fire again.


Additionally, it has a blowback system that automatically cocks the slide with each shot, providing an excellent sense of realism.
