If you bring it close to your nose, you will immediately recognize the characteristic smoky aroma that has made the Mexican mezcal category famous, followed by leather, honey, glue, and some aromas that for some reason remind of barrel-aged white wine. The light, floral notes come to complete the tasting. In the mouth, umami flavors of bacon, intense sensations of smoke and leather, underlying orange acidity, and peppery tingles will be felt on your tongue. Light body despite its full smoky flavor and a warm, spicy aftertaste of moderate, and somewhat longer, duration.
