Αν έχει λίγες ακτινες τοτε είναι δυσκολο να κατσουν σωστά και σταθερά. Όσο καλα κι αν τοποθετηθουν τα κλιπ για τους ιμαντες στη δικη μου περιπτωση ακουμπανε τη ζαντα οπότε η παραμικρή μετακίνιση θα τις γδαρει.

Το κάθε πράγμα κανει για συγκεκριμένη δουλειά. Αυτό πρέπει να γνωρίζουμε πρώτα από όλα. Είναι για χιόνια κ όχι πάγο, δε θέλει γκάζια (ούτως ή άλλως στα χιόνια πας ήσυχα). Έχω κάνει στην τελευταία χιονόπτωση απόσταση 80χλμ σε χιόνι κ ήταν άψογες. Σε ανηφόρα ή με ταχύτητα ακόμη κ οι κλασσικές αλυσίδες υπάρχει μεγάλη πιθανότητα να σπάσουν, όπως φυσικά κ τα πανιά είναι άλλο πράγμα όπως κ τα χιονιλάστιχα. Γι αυτό πρέπει να γνωρίζουμε τι θέλουμε, για πού κ πως το χρησιμοποιούμε σωστά. Οδηγώ επαγγελματικά 27 χρόνια κ εκφράζω την άποψη μου μέσα από την πείρα αυτών των χρόνων.

I tried them and I was disappointed. While as an idea they seem good, in practice they did not live up to our expectations. Indeed, they are very easy to install. Definitely easier than traditional chains. The plastic seems durable and so were the small (metal) pins that are placed in various points on the plastic.
However... the straps, especially at the seams, proved to be "fragile". After 1 kilometer on a snow-covered road, they tore at the joint, leaving us stranded. When I got down and checked, I saw that some of the metal pins had also come off their position. Within a distance of 2 kilometers, three out of the six straps broke. I never managed to reach my destination and had to turn back.
Possibly, the fact that we had to put on the chains on an uphill part of the road because our front wheels got stuck and after we stopped, it was impossible to start on the uphill, might be to blame. So, possibly the extra strain in the effort to start uphill destroyed them. But on the other hand, most of the time in such situations, you are forced to put on chains and not on a flat part of the road completely problem-free.
Τις δοκίμασα και απογοητεύτηκα. Ενώ εν μέρη σαν ιδέα φαίνεται καλή στην πράξη δε μας δικαίωσαν. Όντως είναι ιδιαίτερα εύκολο να τις τοποθετήσεις. Σίγουρα πιο εύκολα από τις κλασσικές αλυσίδες. Το πλαστικό φαίνεται αντοχής και ήταν όπως και τα μικρά (μεταλλικά) καρφάκια που είναι τοποθετημένα σε διάφορα σημεία στο πλαστικό.
Όμως......οι ιμάντες ιδιαίτερα στις ραφές αποδείχθηκαν "εύθραυστοι". Μετά από 1 χιλιόμετρο σε στρωμένο δρόμο με χιόνι σκίστηκαν στην ένωση αφήνοντας μας ξεκρέμαστους. Κατεβαίνοντας και ελέγχοντας είδα ότι και κάποια μεταλλικά καρφάκια είχαν φύγει από τη θέση τους επίσης. Σε απόσταση 2 χλμ μου σπάσανε οι ιμάντες από 3 από τις 6 συνολικά. Δεν μπόρεσα να φτάσω ποτέ στον προορισμό μου, αναγκαστικά γύρισα πίσω.
Ενδεχομένως να φταίει το γεγονός ότι αναγκαστήκαμε να φορέσουμε τις αλυσίδες σε ανηφορικό κομμάτι του δρόμου γιατί ο μπροστινός μας κόλλησε και αφού σταματήσαμε μετά ήταν αδύνατο να ξεκινήσω στην ανηφόρα. Οπότε ενδεχομένως η εξτρά καταπόνηση στην προσπάθεια εκκίνησης στην ανηφόρα να τις κατέστρεψε αλλά από την άλλη τις περισσότερες φορές σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις αναγκάζεσαι να φορέσεις αλυσίδες και όχι σε ίσιο μέρος του δρόμου απροβλημάτιστος εντελώς.

Ότι χειρότερο μπορούσα να αγοράσω!τοποθετήθηκαν εύκολα μέσα σε 5 λεπτά!στα πρώτα 50 μέτρα σταμάτησα να τις ελέγξω και είχαν μετατοπιστεί κι ας είχα τεντώσει τους ιμάντες όσο πάει!στα επόμενα 100 μέτρα η μία κόπηκε με αποτέλεσμα η βόλτα να μου βγει ξινή!όλα αυτά συνέβησαν στην πρώτη και μοναδική φορά χρήσης!!!μακριά καλύτερα κλασικές αλισυδες!
