Sturdy aluminum construction with magnification from 8x to 32x, meaning the actual magnification is 4x (8x4=32). It has the parallel mildot and moa system, which is common in cheap scopes and means that in order to adjust the scope accurately, conversion from one to the other must be done (1 milliradian = 3.438 moa), especially if the target is over 80m away, but this does not concern the majority of amateur shooters. The crystals are OK for the price, but at maximum zoom (32x) the image quality is below average, with low contrast especially if the sun is against it. The clicks on the turrets that adjust the (optional illuminated red or green) reticle in height and direction are just right, not too loose or too tight. Overall, it is a good choice for anyone who wants a high zoom at an affordable price without primarily caring about quality. The truth is that at this price it is difficult to find a new scope with 32x magnification, and if you do find one, it will not be better than this one. So if magnification is the first criterion, then it is a decent purchase. It is also important to note that the mounting rings are included in the packaging.
