Five years after the last edition of “Internal Pathology,” the Department of Pathology is moving forward with the fifth edition of the book, aiming for its modernization. Medical science is constantly evolving, new knowledge is added, and many of the old ones are no longer valid.

All faculty members of the Department of Pathology responded promptly and enthusiastically to the call for the new edition, contributing to the creation of a modern educational tool for students.

Special thanks are due to the philologist Ms. Theodora Katsinelou, who edited the texts, as well as to Ms. Frosso Michali and her colleagues at the publishing house University Studio Press AE, for producing an excellent edition.
