I bought this product a few months ago for an "upgrade" from an old basic model of Singer, which I considered rather "humble" because I hadn't chosen it, it had come bundled with a hairdryer (of course, non-professional) of the same company about 12 years ago. So I did my research, read many reviews, technical specifications, and ended up with this one, even though it's not exactly budget-friendly (65 €), it is one of the more expensive models of Remington that some recommend even for professional use.
It has a long cord, it is very elegant, it has a nice travel case, and it does indeed heat up very quickly, but in the end, I don't think it is superior to the old basic Singer when it comes to straightening and its durability, which is the most important thing... Also, you have to be careful not to burn your fingers because the outer part gets very hot, something that doesn't happen with my old one. In short, I believe that it wasn't worth the money I spent because I didn't get something substantially better than what I had.

I have frizzy hair and I couldn't find a straightener that could straighten my hair until I tried the previous model of the Remington Keratin that my friend had and I was very satisfied. I decided to order this model to protect my hair and I was even more satisfied.

Αποφάσισα να παραγγείλω αυτό το μοντέλο για να προστατεύσω και τα μαλλιά και έμεινα ακόμα πιο ευχαριστημένη.
Let's say that I have the "first" model of the Keratin Therapy from 2013 and this year I bought this model and I have to say that thanks to the almond oil they have on top; inside; the plates in combination with my red dyed hair shine a lot after straightening, but of course I have previously used heat protection products. It is very good at temperatures of 180-200 with slow passes in 1-2 passes (not very thick sections) it straightens my frizzy hair. For more damaged hair that is dry, it requires more patience. The result it gives is to leave the hair very soft, moisturized, and with movement. I haven't tried it yet for curls but from what I remember with the Keratin Therapy, they didn't hold for long, the next day after sleeping without touching them they had already started to fall and be somewhat frizzy. (but I had straightened them first, that's why they didn't hold). I tried it without straightening them and the curls held quite well even the next day. Also, it doesn't frizz if you have straightened it well and applied some oil at the end. It is a bit expensive but it's worth it if you want a good straightener that will last over the years with very good results, over time its price will drop.

Είναι πάρα πολύ καλή και στην θερμοκρασία 180-200 με αργά περάσματα μέσα σε 1-2 περάσματα (όχι πάρα πολύ χοντρές τούφες) είναι ίσια σε σπαστά μαλλιά που έχω. Σε πιο τελειοποιημένα μαλλιά που είναι ξερά, που έχω δοκιμάσει θέλει πιο πολύ υπομονή. Το αποτέλεσμα που κάνει είναι να αφήνει τα μαλλιά πολύ μαλακά, ενυδατωμένα, και με κίνηση. Δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει ακόμη για μπούκλες αλλά από ότι θυμαμαι στην Keratin Therapy, δεν κραταγανε και πολύ, την επομενη μέρα μετά τον ύπνο χωρίς να τα πιάσω είχαν ήδη αρχίσει να καθονται και να είναι κάπως σπαστά.(πρώτα όμως τα είχα ισιώσει γι αυτό δεν κραταγαν. Την δοκίμασα χωρίς να τα έχω ισιώσω και οι μπούκλες κραταγαν αρκετά ακόμη και τις επόμενες μέρες). Επίσης, δεν φριζαρει το μαλλί αν το έχεις ισιώσει καλά και έχεις βάλει και κάποιο λαδάκι στο τέλος. Είναι λίγο ακριβή άλλα αξίζει για αν θες μια καλή ισιωτικη που θα κρατήσει με τα χρόνια με πολύ καλά αποτελέσματα, με τον καιρό θα πέσει η τιμή της.
