The creation of this edition was truly an enjoyable experience that taught me a lot. I started with the goal of making a book that would gather all my favorite cakes and express my philosophy about them. For me, dessert is joy. A small pleasure, a break from routine, a festive symbol, a tender offering. To make this book, we made over 5,000 cakes. And we created unique, original recipes for every occasion. My aim was to offer you a true "cake bible." Some recipes may seem complicated, but don’t be afraid of them. In pastry making, things are straightforward. Follow the instructions carefully and you will see that the result will reward you. It’s piece of cake, really!

    First of all, I have to say that the quality of the book's paper is excellent and quite large. Now, for 13 euros, it is very cheap for Petretzikis, and I understood why. Out of the many recipes it has, personally I found 25 of them enjoyable and realistic. 80% of the recipes are complicated with special ingredients that I believe do not cover someone who simply wants variety in cake recipes. It has two chapters dedicated to cupcakes with a hundred flavors, meaning somewhere it stops. The book is about cakes and it has two chapters about cupcakes? Normal cake recipes are in each of these chapters. While it obviously has good writing and recipe instructions, the selection of recipes is very mediocre. I do not recommend it...
