The fifth edition of the work "Family Law in Practice", by E. Kounougeri Manoledaki, Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Athena Kotzampasi, Katerina Fountedaki, Associate Professors at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, was deemed necessary due to the enactment of legislation on medical assistance in human reproduction, specifically Law 3089/2002. With this law, a completely new chapter with regulations on the conditions of various reproductive methods was introduced into the Civil Code, and significant provisions in the existing chapter on kinship were added and revised to adequately cover the consequences of the use of the aforementioned methods.
All these legislative changes that made the addition of new exercises related to them necessary led to the present, fifth edition of this book. Moreover, the new edition includes new exercises on other topics of family law, and of course, the bibliography and case law have been generally updated.
