For ascents and descents in a variety of snow conditions, the K2 Wayback 88 men's skis combine a ski touring construction with freeride features. The ECOre Balsa/Flax and Fiber Core contribute to their low weight, while Carbon Web and Carbon Boost enhance stability on descents. All Terrain Rocker helps the skis float in fresh snow, and traditional camber provides grip.

Special holes in the tip and tail secure climbing skins for ascents. The skis have a directional shape and a flat tail, while the Sintered base is hard and fast and requires more maintenance. Skis are sold without bindings.
