It went into an AM4 Ryzen 7 HTPC in the living room. Everyone told me not to buy it, that it wouldn’t work on a Ryzen 7, to get a water cooler, that whatever AMD stock cooler did would be because the case isn’t good. I was a little afraid because it would go into a case with the socket directly under the PSU, with their fans competing for air. Even so, I took the chance and in a TT Lanbox Lite it gave me great temperatures. In 3-hour gaming sessions max 65 in the summer, from over 70 before. In browsing, streaming, and media, quite low 40s. So, pretty good. It is also clearly smaller in volume than the Wraith and the whole rig breathed better. Basically, the case is big for the cooler... Its fan on medium setting is quieter than the power supply. If you set it to run at full speed, it is audible, but it wasn’t necessary.

It was installed on a Deskmini X300, on top of a Ryzen 5600G, where previously I was using the stock Wraith Stealth cooler. In combination with the L9a, I also used the Noctua Fan Duct Kit. The result was better than I expected.
Below are the results from thermal testing. Firstly, I should mention that the room temperature with the Wraith Stealth was 13°C, while with the L9a it was 18°C. Additionally, the 5600G has been undervolted to 1.20625 volts, at 4100Mhz, boosting to 4505 Mhz in applications and games, with graphics overclocked to 2350 Mhz.

I have an AMD-FX 8350 processor that its cooler makes a lot of noise, and I bought this cooler and it is excellent. I was playing Fallout New Vegas fully modded with the previous cooler at 50-70 degrees, and now in points where it should be working at full capacity, it remains at 19-24 degrees. Additionally, it is relatively easy to install and very small in height.

Τοποθετήθηκε σε Deskmini X300, πάνω σε Ryzen 5600G, στον οποίον πριν χρησιμοποιούσα την εργοστασιακή ψύχτρα Wraith Stealth. Σε συνδιασμό με την L9a χρησιμοποίησα και το Noctua Fan Duct Kit. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν καλύτερο απ'ότι περίμενα.
Παρακάτω έχω αποτελέσματα από thermal testing. Αρχικά να πω πως η θερμοκρασία δωματίου με την Wraith Stealth ηταν 13° C, ενώ με την L9a 18° C. Επίσης, ο 5600G έχει γίνει undervolt στα 1,20625 volt, στα 4100Mhz, boosting στα 4505 Mhz σε εφαρμογές και παιχνίδια και τα γραφικά oc στα 2350 Mhz.

I chose it after a lot of searching for the Asrock mini which doesn't have much space. When I opened the box, it was like buying a Rolex... everything neatly organized and the materials seemed very well-made. Completely silent.
Την επέλεξα μετά από αρκετό ψάξιμο για το Asrock mini το οποίο δεν έχει και ιδιαίτερο χώρο. Όταν άνοιξα το κουτί ήτανε λες και αγόραζα rolex… όλα στην τάξη τακτοποιημένα και από ότι φαίνεται πολύ προσεγμένα υλικά. Εντελώς αθόρυβη.
