The Waterproof Case Adapter replaces the TRail mount that the Contour Car Mount Base has. This way, you can attach your Contour camera to the Car Mount Base while it remains safely inside its waterproof case.

Using the adapter, you can attach the Car Mount Base even to the exterior of your vehicle without any worries, even in the most adverse weather conditions.

Additionally, thanks to the universal screw (1/4" – 20) that the adapter includes, you can use the Contour Car Mount Base with any camera that has a corresponding socket, regardless of its brand.
