The battles are epic and overall the bosses are very aggressive and satisfying. The music, sound design, and level design are a masterpiece. Some areas push the boundaries of sadism because even though it's not clear where to go, you are being chased by 500 enemies. Also, for me, the biggest negative is the lack of emotional connection in the way the story is presented. In other games like The Witcher, you become attached to the characters and are interested in finding out what will happen next. Despite having a very dark story, the way it is presented feels lifeless. On the other hand, the battles are some of the best in the history of video games

This particular game is a category on its own. It is ideal for someone to play this first and then go to Elden Ring in order to be prepared for what they will encounter. This way, they will know more about the genre but will be even more impressed with the game's evolution. Good luck to everyone who is still involved with it after hundreds of hours.

Are you thinking about it now. Is it worth getting after so many years? YES..! It is one of the best games ever released. So it doesn't lose its value. As time goes by, it will only lack in graphics. Amazing world, amazing battles. The bosses are incredible, as in all from software games. I needed YouTube to pass some puzzles. It's an epic finale

We are talking about one of the top games of all time. Miyazaki did an amazing job. For those who have played it, it has the classic difficulty of From Software games. Epic soundtrack and bosses. A game from 2011 that was remastered in 2018, what do you expect to see miracles? Obviously, it is not a game for everyone, as it requires patience and perseverance. It is a game that you have to struggle to learn, but you will be rewarded for your effort. It has that mysterious lore that all games in the series have. For me, it is better than 2 and 3. The world is very well connected, something that is missing from the others. It is a gem that is worth the time and money, and a solid ten.

Epic. This is where I started with the Souls games. Initially, if you're unfamiliar with Souls games, it might seem overwhelming. However, you will get your butt kicked and you will learn. That's what happened to me. In my first playthrough, it took my soul, but I enjoyed it. In the second playthrough, knowing which weapons to use and the boss strategies, it became much easier. The areas and soundtrack are excellent, as well as the bosses. Perhaps the best game out there along with God of War

Having played the Prepare to Die Edition first, I clearly see the game improved. The graphics don't have significant differences if you had the DS fix (personally, I'm glad the graphics didn't change much). There are small differences in gameplay with a few of the game's glitches being fixed (something that may have been done intentionally for speedrunners or for those who had played the game's first version). For me, it's a very good remaster and of course, 5 stars since DS1 defined an entire category of games (the Souls-like).

The beginning of one of the best series, I will of course talk about the remastered version that they did not fix things, I would like them to fix the issue with the dodge in four directions.
Otherwise, for those who have never played 1, it's a chance to get it or for those who want it for their collection to have it in 4

I give it 4 stars only because as a remaster it is not good and the price is not justified for graphics that are almost the same, just with minimal details. Even the gameplay feels old. On the other hand, it makes the game more accessible because you can't find it on PS3. The game itself is one of the best ever released. The levels and the world are complex with shortcuts and passages that connect distant parts of the map with more central or unrelated areas. The gameplay and the overall concept were something unprecedented for its time, so unprecedented that it created its own genre of game (souls like). I would recommend buying it because, as I said, the original is rare and it's worth experiencing this experience.

It also includes its own DLC which has its own map with bosses and a story that is connected to the main game.

Well, let's make it clear that if you don't have the patience to learn the mechanics, Dark Souls is not playable, and fortunately, in my opinion, that's the magic of the game. If you want a new type of game and have the patience to learn it, GET IT, and in my personal opinion, the first one is the best in the trilogy with a significant difference in terms of level design, as there are shortcuts everywhere, where you can play for 3 hours and end up back in the first area, leaving you speechless. Of course, there are some weaknesses compared to the others, for example, the multiplayer is quite inferior, but compared to the positives, it's really negligible.

A game that you will cherish for years, one of the best games released to date. I give it a 100/100, having explored all the dark areas and defeated all 26 bosses, including the DLC! Yes, it is difficult when you understand its philosophy, but it's not that hard. Extremely addictive game!!! For me, the most difficult bosses were Smough and Ornstein. Rating: 10/10, without a doubt

So I started with Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls 2, Demon's Souls, and finally Dark Souls Remastered. I have to say that the graphics are great - perfect for me. Those who say they are terrible must have been playing on the PS3 for a very long time, I suppose.

    -Graphics: Very good
    -Gameplay: Perfect
    -Sound: Perfect
    -Singleplayer: Perfect
    -Multiplayer: So-so
    -Difficulty: Get ready to suffer.

10/10 from me, a fantastic game!!

-THE BELOW IS FOR NEW PLAYERS OF DARK SOULS

That's my review, a very nice and addictive game! Also, the multiplayer can become annoying when playing with friends because other people invade and kill you with one hit. However, if you are hollow, they cannot invade you even though you are connected to the internet.

As a remastered game, it doesn't have good graphics. It must be the worst remastered game in terms of graphics... As a game, it is a gem that frustrates you until you kill a boss, but as you progress, the game rewards you. In terms of difficulty, it is the most difficult Dark Souls of the trilogy. It requires patient individuals, not nervous ones.

I started it backwards, first playing Dark Souls 3, then Dark Souls 2, and finally it was time for the first in the series. Thus, an incredible trilogy that captivated me for hundreds of hours was completed.
    Regarding Dark Souls Remastered now.
The definition of challenge. Enjoyable battles, a plethora of bosses, variety in weapons, armors, and shields. Magical spells, quests, and the most impressive of all: the clever connection of individual areas. Like a puzzle that you gradually complete.
A must-have for Souls fans and a reason for everyone to embark on a wonderful journey through mysterious, dark yet impressive worlds.
    Of course, 10/10.

It is yet another game that didn't catch my attention as much as when I had the PS3. Having started backwards from bloodborne & DS3, I grabbed this one at a low price and it seems like I'm closing the series somewhat roughly. It solved many of my doubts regarding the story and filled me with more. It is atmospheric, dark, difficult (I still consider myself a noob), and impossible for me to finish without a step-by-step guide. I struggled a lot and started over two more times with a different build. It is a game that you love to hate!

Anyone who says that this game is one of the best games has no idea. The graphics are terrible with nonexistent details. I remind you that this is a game from 2018, it should have been remade. This is a disgrace from Bandai. What it offers is not fair compared to what you pay. For me, it's not worth more than 10€. I would recommend anyone who hasn't played this kind of game to try Bloodborne, which is supposed to be similar to Dark Souls but much better, and give Dark Souls 3 a chance, which is a decent game compared to what it has to offer

Dark Souls for me is an incredible game! It was the first one I played from the series and I spent many hours on it. Many people talk about its difficulty, and I agree to a certain extent, but it is as difficult as you make it. A simple example is that you can finish all the bosses at soul level 1, and that says something about the gameplay, habit makes you better!
In the positives: Much smoother framerate (especially in Blighttown) at 60 fps overall. The graphics are clearly better, somewhat more "polished". The replayability of the game. The online functionality and PvP. The musical soundtrack (where it exists) that makes it atmospheric. I can't find any negative points, but there are some details that are evident to those who come from DS3.
Is it worth buying Dark Souls Remastered now? In my personal opinion, yes, it is worth it and more.

Guys, let's not say it again, it's REMASTERED the game of 2011.. It's a great game, yes, it's difficult and requires patience (how many times I almost threw it, only God knows).. but it's worth it..!!!

Someone who has played 2 and 3 must add this to their collection too! Okay, it loses a bit in graphics compared to the story and gameplay. It's awesome! When you hear about Miyazaki director, you take it blindly!

There's not much to say about this game since it is now legendary and there is no gamer who respects themselves and doesn't know the game. If you don't already have it on PC, then get it without thinking

  • The battles are epic and overall the bosses are very aggressive and satisfying.

  • This particular game is a category on its own. It is ideal for someone to play this first and then go to Elden Ring in order to be prepared for what they will encounter. This way, they will know more about the genre but will be even more impressed with the game's evolution. Good luck to everyone who is still involved with it after hundreds of hours.
