Connected to a Pioneer 1500 deck, without a subwoofer, but also without an amplifier... neither cold nor hot. It cannot be compared, for example, to the result I had with a factory sound that I have heard in friends' cars, which is much more high-quality and relaxing, compared to mine where I have all the speakers in the rear shelf of the car. There must definitely be more musical solutions than these speakers, but mainly better solutions for my setup. The overall result did not impress me, but it did not disappoint me either.
