At the same time, all the contributions in this volume demonstrate that, despite its spread throughout the world, racism can in no way be considered an inherent part of human nature or human society. Instead, it is very specific conditions that provide the necessary substrate for its emergence, and it is also very specific actions and omissions that allow for its development and proliferation.

For this reason, the book serves as a tool in the hands of those who perceive the urgent need to confront the barbarity of racism and adopt relevant attitudes and practices in their scientific activities and their lives.
