The Manfrotto Befree Advanced Aluminum travel tripod features an aluminum Center 494 ball head with separate controls for locking the ball, adjusting friction and panning. The M-lock uses twist locks to secure the legs, while the mechanism folds around the head without protruding. The spider features an Easy Link socket for attaching accessories such as lights or reflectors.

The legs can be adjusted independently to three angles, and the angle selector can be operated by both left- and right-handed users. The head is compatible with Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss-style plates. A carrying bag is included.
