The base has a sticky substance. Any devices that have a sticky substance SHOULD NOT remain permanently on the dashboard or the car window (in the cars of ordinary mortals who don't have a garage). The heat from the sun will eventually 'evaporate' the glue. I place it on the dashboard each time and remove it as soon as I no longer need it (I even remove it when I park the car to buy something from a shop). One summer I used it like this more than thirty times (keeping it in the glove compartment) and the sticky substance still holds.

It may not look like it will hold up, but it has turned out to be very good even on a difficult surface, where other more expensive mounts come off

It comes off the dashboard in the heat, even though I support it on a non-slip, flat base. Cheap construction. Wasted money.

User of iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The best car mount I have ever purchased! It doesn't budge at all, not even in the summer heat! Perfect fit of the phone on the mount, even with a waterproof case on the phone. The hook system it uses is perhaps the most convenient I have tried so far in a phone mount.

It was perfect the first month, it didn't move at all from its place. After the first month, it started to peel off and fall along with the phone. In the end, it didn't stick at all and I threw it away.

Amazing phone holder, without those silly gel substances that lose their adhesive properties after a few months and you end up throwing the holder away. Suction cup that sticks well to the windshield. No complaints so far. Time will tell how long it will last...

To tell the truth, I was disappointed with this purchase as I expected it to be a bit larger. Nevertheless, I will mention some things that made my life quite difficult with this product.
Firstly, it is not suitable for all cars, as if you have a phone larger than 6.1 inches, specifically I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, it hit the windshield, meaning I couldn't place it there from the start.
Aside from that, I must mention that although it holds the phone well, it shakes incredibly when you go over bumps, and without bumps, now that I think about it, it will shake a lot.
I would borderline consider it dangerous; it's worth spending a little more to get a mount with an arm

The holder for the phone is relatively good, but the suction cup, while it initially stuck well, after a while started to come off and after some time, especially in heat and high temperatures, it didn't stick at all.

poor plastic quality... the clips on the right and left hold the phone according to its weight that touches the bottom clip.... so when you try to turn it horizontally, it doesn't hold and falls.... I wonder about the positive reviews... one star because it doesn't have a lower rating...

With regard to the price, it is definitely worth it. It breaks every 6-7 months, but the others I have tried for 15-20 euros are not better, they last the same amount of time.

I was prepared for the fact that the placement on the dashboard (which is not smooth) would not be stable. However, unfortunately, it does not even stay in place on the glass windshield. After 1-2 months of use, I can no longer trust my device on this mount, as it detaches and falls with the slightest movement. Additionally, the angle on my windshield barely allowed for the placement of my device on the mount. It would be good if the arm of the mount was longer. Finally, the springs of the mechanism creak loudly and constantly when you don't have a device on it. I expected more from Baseus, even at this - indeed low - price.

The base is made of plastic and lightweight, it doesn't have any particular weight.
At the bottom, it has adhesive and sticks firmly to a certain point on the car dashboard.
It doesn't work well on curved dashboards because the suction cup won't hold properly, resulting in the base falling off.
It holds the phone with the weight of the phone itself, but I would prefer if the hooks that hold the phone also had some protective cushioning to provide a more stable grip, although I didn't see the phone moving like that.
If you don't use it frequently, it would be good to remove it from the dashboard so that the adhesive on the suction cup doesn't get damaged.
I wouldn't recommend placing it on the car windshield because of the adhesive and the design of the base, as it may leave marks and break

Very good base. It has been in the car for 2 years and until today it hasn't suffered anything, nor has it ever come off. Very secure for the phone.

It's worth it until the suction cup breaks and can no longer stick to any surface. Personally, it lasted me a year until I switched to a different type of base with a little less money, but depending on the amount of money you will spend, you will also get the corresponding quality.

I have stuck it on the dashboard above the stereo and it hasn't come off yet, even in hot conditions. It holds the phone well and is easy to install. Now, whether it is durable or not, time will tell.

At first, I had it on the plastic above the dashboard and it would often come off. Now, it sticks properly when placed on the windshield and doesn't come off, so I would say that overall it is a worthwhile product. One tip to make the adhesive last is to remove it when not in use.

A simple mobile phone holder for the windshield, for the money it costs (5.43 euros), it is the best. The only problem I encountered was that the angle of my car's windshield did not allow for easy placement of my phone on the holder, resulting in smudging everything with fingerprints.

The base was purchased three days ago. When placed on the dashboard, it lasted for a while, but then it started to come off constantly. I tried to place it on the windshield where it seems to stick much better. However, its small arm makes it unsuitable for placing the phone on a tilted windshield (it finds the top part of the phone). I believe it will work better on a more vertical windshield. Unfortunately, for my case, it was a waste of money.

The glue that the suction cup has helps the suction cup to stick well to the glass. If you need to remove it, it would be good to have something plastic with you to touch it to the suction cup and maintain the "glue" it has. In a jeep and on a bad road with a 200g mobile phone, there was no problem. Also, there was no problem under the sun (in a second vehicle that I put it on).
