  • Personally, it has helped me with grilling fish. If I put 4 to 5 sea breams, the grill will not close/secure, but this is not a problem for me because it results in the fish not being pressed. Indeed, cleaning is a hassle.

It doesn't clean at all. I put it in the dishwasher, it cleaned a little bit but then it requires hand scrubbing. Especially in the areas where the branches occur, it is VERY difficult to clean.

OK obviously the build quality is impeccable, like all Weber products. The issue is that the grill is extremely impractical for multiple reasons that I ended up not using it:
    1) It doesn't clean between the bars at all. Especially if you cook fish, it doesn't clean at all. It takes me more time to clean it than to cook, neither with a wire brush nor with a special brush, there are residues left between the curves.
    2) In the large version, if you put multiple objects of different widths (e.g. grilled vegetables) and some are thicker than others, then it leaves gaps on the side, and when you flip it to cook upside down, the small vegetables may fall off the edges. So you need a little bit of Tetris to be OK with the flips.

Given its price, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Especially (1) made me buy another grill for 10 euros that only had straight bars (and therefore cleaned) and this one went ...in the drawer.

Very good build quality. With the correct temperature and seasoning, the fish skin does not stick. The mesh is elastic and does not compress the fish. It easily closes up to 1.5 kilograms of fish and does not risk opening during flipping. The downside is the high price (like all Weber products in Greece) and the difficult cleaning.
