It arrived and made an excessive amount of noise, and in the end the gears were broken. It is the worst thing. I've had it for one day, so I don't have the opinion to see if it lasts over time, but just the fact that it makes so much noise is a no for me. Better get something else, even if it has so many stars; the reviews may also be fake

From the very first minute of operation, the motor was "jumping" and did not run smoothly. Other than that, it held up easily.

I've had it for 10 years and it's a workhorse. I bought a second one, I hope it's as good as the first.
It handles a 15kg lamb easily. I haven't tried more, the spit can't fit it, but it would probably manage.

War dog. 18 kilos of lamb without breaking a sweat. However, it should have a stainless steel shell because with the black it attracts a lot of heat. I covered it with aluminum tape for protection and it's just fine.

I give it 4 stars because this is the second one I've bought, and while the first was relatively quiet, this one makes much more noise (I had to open it and apply solid grease to fix it) and the outer casing was "worn out." The good thing is that because it has a fan, it doesn't heat up at all. However, with a large lamb of 13 kilos, it didn't maintain a smooth speed even though the lamb was correctly placed along the axis of the spit, meaning it couldn't hold it well.

It handled a 12 kg lamb just fine. It didn't stop at all. It's worth it, you can choose it.

For the cost, it's good, it makes noise and gets quite hot (I didn't take the risk and put a separate protection between the motor and the cooling fan from the coals). I used it on a 10kg lamb, four hours of operation and it didn't get damaged.

Very good powerful and relatively quiet.
The job was done easily.

I have changed several motors for grilling. Finally, I found one that does its job correctly and without any problems. It doesn't heat up and it turns continuously.

It easily cooked a lamb of 13 kilos comfortably, in the shade of course but next to the fire. Good construction, it makes a bit of noise but that's understandable since it has a fan. The screws inside are of poor quality and easily get worn out. Purchased for 30 Euros.

I think it is one of the best in the market.
I found the build quality to be very good and I believe the fan is exactly what makes the device so reliable.
It has inspired confidence in me that it will last a long time.
I recommend it.

In the pros, I include that it doesn't back down no matter how much fire it has eaten, in the cons, I include the speed regulator which is useless.
But it does what it promises, withstands extreme temperatures, and doesn't let you down.
The funny thing is that the next day I saw it at Sklavenitis for 30 euros. I simply had it next to my house and didn't know it.
