I have had it for quite a few years, definitely about 8 years. At first, with a small child, I used it many times, over the years more rarely, but still quite a bit, and I have lent it here and there. I always take care of it, make sure to empty the water completely, and I also use filtered water (even though where I bought it from said it's better from the tap) because I have a lot of limescale. After about 10 months of not using it, I plugged it in and... nothing. I tried several times, turning it on and off, moved it a bit, and it came back. Probably something got clogged. Overall, I have used it for many hours and have also bought quite a few extras like the metal brushes which do a good job. 4 stars for the recent hassle, which surely won't be the last

If I could, I would give it zero stars. The device is unacceptable and the company even more so. It shows FAULTS IN THE FLOAT and the WATER SENSOR within the first few months with mild use. At 14 months, the pump broke down completely. Repairing it costs €100, almost 70% of the purchase price, and Karcher told me after the fact that this particular model often has faults due to the instant water heater, and that they do not recommend it! UNACCEPTABLE PRODUCT, wasted money.

Bought 3 years ago... as long as it worked, it was fine, I had no problem... I didn't use it frequently... maybe I used it a total of 30 times and I always used it carefully and then cleaned it and stored it properly... a little while ago it broke down and when I took it to the dealership without them checking what exactly the issue was, they told me that the repair costs €89... for me, it's not worth the money... stay away...

Waste of money. After 5-6 times of household use within 14 months, the pump burned out. Due to the fact that I had a receipt and not a retail receipt, the warranty was only for one year instead of the advertised two. The cost of repair was €78! Of course, it went for recycling.

So I have had the machine for a year. With almost daily use. It is mostly for sterilization and not for cleaning. Yes, water does drip. Until it heats up well. The steam pressure is not like that of a steam iron, let's say. But it does the job. With the small attachments, for example, steam got into the crevices of the bathroom faucets that no brush can reach and cleaned them from the inside, let's say. Don't think that you can just pass over the floor and the grout will be cleaned... Only with rubbing 1-1 with the small brush maybe... As I said, for sterilization. I clean and then pass the steam over, on leather sofas with a cloth, on carpets, floors, bathroom, walls, mattresses, etc. On carpets, for example, I spread some carpet cleaner and then steam over it... By the time it dries, it is clean.

As for the very negative aspects, the short cord and the fact that if it turns to the side, the water spills from the container...

I have the Karcher sc3 steam cleaner for almost six years, it hasn't had any issues at all. It is a very good machine, I clean everything from carpets, closets, doors, windows, frames to car seats, sofas, bathrooms... everything!! Flawless machine, worth its money

It was purchased 3 months ago and is actually used in two houses, as the previous one, the smaller model SC 2 from Karcher that I had (I would describe it as mediocre overall, as one fine morning the water inlet cap broke and it was not worth fixing), and I would also rate it as very mediocre... because I followed its instructions to the letter and it was not used as much even in this short period of time as my new SC 3. This steam cleaner has been a lifesaver for me, it is flexible and effective, essentially sterilizing everything thoroughly, and I would buy it again!

My experience so far is good, but don't expect it to clean everything. I think it is better for refreshing carpets, curtains, etc

Relatively short cable length.

Performance with the use of accessories (steam volume) decreases.

Comment: I would buy it again.
Tip: Close it for 5-10 minutes every 30 minutes.

In 10 minutes it is ready for use. I have saved myself from scrubbing and chemicals, that's why I will quickly recover the cost. It is user-friendly, the only negative is the length of the cord. It is good to get another cloth besides the one it comes with. The best purchase for the house!

It destroyed my marbles, forcing me to polish them again. It broke on the third use and I need to contact the company. Also, steam cleaners clean better. I think it's the worst purchase I've made so far

Very satisfied with this particular machine! It is perhaps the only one that is ready for use in 30-40 seconds from off or stand by! You forget about "turning on the steam cleaner and having a cup of espresso until it heats up" that you have with other machines. You press ON and by the time you grab the handle and bring it to where you want to clean, it is ready with full pressure!
The water tank does not have a lid, so you simply fill it with water as soon as it empties or even before it empties or even while you are using it! Essentially, you don't stop cleaning!
I mainly use it for medical gowns/clothes in the midst of the Covid pandemic. It also includes a water filter, so we use tap water without any problem.

We bought the sc3 easy fix in the spring of 2020 for sterilizing rented rooms for everything (mattresses, wall & countertop surfaces, bathroom, glass doors, pillows, etc.) with daily use. In the winter, we used it for our house where I cleaned the joints on the 30-year-old tiles....and we remembered the original color of the joints! It softens tough dirt and then we clean normally. We cleaned my daughter's car, which has 2 small children (chocolates, mud, milk, etc. on the seats), and it became like new! An excellent machine as long as you use it correctly: When you want sterilization, you clean first normally and then pass with the machine. When there is heavy dirt, you soften it first with the machine and then clean normally.

Do not buy this one, the pump burned out in the first month I bought it, luckily they replaced it under warranty, but it broke again in the third year of operation. The repair costs 90€ and it's not worth it, so you throw it away!

Very good product, I bought it for the car for cleaning but it turns out it's good for everything in no time and very effortlessly, both at home and for the whole house.

It is a very useful tool for the home. I would prefer if it held more liters of water. The only negative is that during storage, I cannot hang the cord somewhere. Also, both the water hose and the cord are short, they definitely need an extension cord. I highly recommend it for those who are meticulous about cleanliness. It performs exceptionally well even on the toughest and stubborn stains.

If someone wants the machine for floor refreshing (e.g. using it every 2-3 days and not letting the floor accumulate tough dirt) or for disinfection, they will find their joy. It does exactly what the name "steam cleaner" implies. If they want to clean grout, they will have difficulty because it requires persistence. Maybe they need to first apply some cleaner, I don't know. The same goes for burnt grease. Ultimately, though, it gets the job done about 80%. As for salts, let's not even discuss it, they have misunderstood what steam does and what it doesn't. The main disadvantage is the short cord. You need a strategy for how to move around the space so that the plug doesn't end up in a spot where you can't step on it to unplug it, especially since the floor is quite wet.

The machine is good and reliable, I would say.
For household use, it is great.
Pros:
With one liter, I can cover almost 100 square meters without being too meticulous.
It prepares the water quickly.
Satisfactory accessories.
Light construction.
Cons:
It doesn't have a button (at least I would like one) for continuous steam production, so you have to constantly press the steam production button, which personally doesn't suit me.
Short cable, BUT I have it permanently connected to a 5m extension cord and it does the job.
I would like a slightly higher pressure.
In conclusion, it is a reliable machine. It wouldn't bother me if it was a bit cheaper, as I believe you pay more for the brand.

I have this specific steam cleaner for about 1.5 months now and I am very satisfied. I use it for mopping, dusting, windows, bathroom, tile grout, and even for cleaning pigeon droppings on the balcony! It definitely needs additional attachments, such as small brushes and replacement pads. It leaves a little water on the floor but dries quickly. I have easily and quickly cleaned sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, and tables with it. The major difference I have noticed compared to using a mop is that the amount of hair has significantly decreased because the special floor attachment is like a swiffer and removes the hair that the broom doesn't absorb.

Very good steam cleaner, cleans at a very good level. I like its function that allows you to add water while cleaning without stopping. It also has a filter for the steam, which is very important for the life of the steam cleaner as it helps it maintain good condition. Now, as for its use, it was used on carpets with the special attachment, which you can order for about 20€ along with shipping. The result was excellent as it refreshed and sanitized them. It was also used on tough oven grease, which melted into mold, and it eliminated it. It was used on car seats, which it refreshed. Overall, it is a very good tool, but you will definitely need extra brushes and cloths as it only includes one for the floor and one for seats, sofas, etc. Only one brush for dirt, so an additional 60-70€ for accessories. Relatively good steam cleaner, for household use. I would prefer more pressure and for the container to be closed because many times when pulling it to be moved, it overturns and spills its water. Also, it does not have a cable holder. Overall, its storage is not very convenient
