Within the super-dense forest of Paloumbia, creatures of all kinds live and struggle for their lives. Legendary myths and traditions have given incredible descriptions of their form and tastes. The Choutsas, sworn enemies of the rare animal, and the Indians, for whom Marsupilami is their coveted ideal prey, run after him tirelessly. But their efforts to trap Marsupilami are in vain, as a deluge of traps and kick-scooters fall upon the aspiring hunters' imaginary heads, ending up as a lesson in culture for future explorers...
