Unfortunately, I am facing the same problem with the remotes; it takes me up to five minutes to get it to lock. I press it and stand next to the car, nothing happens, and both remotes have the same issue. A real disappointment, considering it is an expensive alarm!! And of course, the warranty does not cover accessories like the remotes...

Installed in a KIA PICANTO 2006 with a total cost of €220 at a car electrician a year ago. So far, it works perfectly without issues and has good range for the remote. I asked him to activate only the basic functions, namely opening and locking the doors, and arming without any extra features like automatic door locking, trunk control, etc., firstly to avoid problems and secondly because I was only interested in the remote control and the alarm arming.
    Update 31/01/2025:
After about 2 years, one remote control was not functioning properly. I changed the battery and the problem was fixed, so all good.

It was installed by a Gemini authorized electrician, and for 4 years now, it hasn't had any issues and always works as it should, automatically closing the windows as soon as I activate it. All together, it cost 200 euros. It was installed in an Audi 8p.

As mentioned in another comment, many times you struggle to unlock the alarm and it gets on your nerves.

    Very disappointed with this purchase!

I had it installed in the car by an official Gemini representative and the whole kit cost me about 180-200€ in total.

From the very first moment, when we tested it with the technician in the store before I bought the car, we saw that the controls had no range at all (and when we say no range, we mean barely 2 meters), we changed the batteries in the controls in case that was the issue, but in the end they gave it to me saying that's how it works.

I bought it, they also gave me a lifetime warranty for the alarm.

After 2 years, besides the fact that the buttons on the controls broke as shown in the photo, they stopped synchronizing (one works, the other doesn't), resulting in me sitting outside the car in the rain and snow trying to unlock it (I literally touch the key to the car near the brain in hopes of catching a signal), I went to the representative since I had the warranty and he said there was no problem and that the system works like that.

If it really works like that, stay away and don't make the mistake of buying it! The only positive thing is the panic button (which also barely works and if it starts, I can't deactivate it because the control doesn't catch the signal) and that it has a very loud siren.

This particular system was installed by an electrician in my car since it was a requirement from the Insurance company (Fire Theft Insurance).

It works perfectly, it has greatly facilitated me that I press a button and the car unlocks and locks from a distance when I carry things especially, and I no longer need to lock and unlock with the key.

In cars that support it, it can automatically open the trunk with the press of a button.

    The siren is loud.

I recommend you to install it in your car.

I have been using it for several years and it works perfectly. Both controls still work and the siren is loud. Approximately 5 years
