Cheap and you get what you pay for! Short cable, 60W but not a stable temperature and "fake", with a little pressure on melting plastic I broke it on the first use.

I am talking about the ingco S10248 40w, which is worth its money and more because it is easy to use for an amateur or even a beginner. It sticks very easily and quickly with a good soldering iron.

This specific glue gun is bulky. The tip of the nozzle oxidized and became completely useless after 10 uses. It takes 10 minutes for the temperature to rise satisfactorily, and then it fluctuates constantly. It has a short cable and the construction is mediocre. It doesn't stick anything well. Spend 5 euros more and get something much better.

It is completely useless....after a few jams, its tip bent a little, oxidized, and does not stick anything easily.......also, there are no tips. It is better to get something more expensive but reliable.

  • It is a very good choice for a beginner or amateur. Simply, the tip is somewhat thick and it would be easier if it were thinner, especially when dealing with small components.

It does what it promises. In the first use and for about half an hour, a little smoke will come out from under the plastic handle. Don't be scared, it's due to the first use until the materials "settle" between them, then it won't come out again. It doesn't have an on/off button, which means that to turn it off, you have to unplug it. Also, the included base for support is laughable and needs attention so it doesn't fall down. Short cable length. It was used to solder an unterminated speaker cable to RCA plugs and the other side of the cable to the speakers. Very good job. It's perfect for an amateur to start learning. If you're not sure what you're doing with this tool, trust someone more experienced first. It's worth the money and more. 4 stars

First time using a glue gun, I think it's great for the price!

Update after 2 uses. The tip got oxidized and now it doesn't glue anymore. I also can't find a replacement part

This review is about the power: 40 W

As soon as I plugged it into the socket, it started emitting smoke at the point between the handle and the metal part. Additionally, there was a strong smell of burnt plastic.

This review is about the power: 40 W

I will admit, I am not a professional in soldering, but I was very shocked by this cheap soldering iron. It simply made a fool of the Weller SP25 25W soldering iron that I had, just by using it.

It heats up relatively quickly, melts immediately, has the ability to change the tip, and comes with a small cute stand. At the beginning of the first use, it will produce quite a bit of smoke, but that is completely normal. My complaint is that it does not have a long enough cable.

After many uses, the soldering iron has developed black marks on its body and tip, and initially, I had problems with the tip not sticking properly. However, I use a copper kitchen sponge to clean it after each use.

WARNING! DO NOT USE SANDPAPER OR SIMILAR MATERIALS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL DAMAGE THE COPPER COATING OF THE TIP!

This review is about the power: 40 W

I bought it 3 months ago as a replacement for a branded one that was purchased at five times the price because I couldn't find a tip for replacement. I have used it 4 times so far and I am completely satisfied. It heats up quickly, has the required temperature for soldering with common wire, and cleans very easily without leaving any black marks on the tip. As for durability, time will tell, although it was left plugged in for over two consecutive hours and I believe it would have shown any issues with smell or plastic melting if there was a problem. So far, it is the same or even better than the branded one I was using. As for the price, I cannot even discuss it.
