With the TURN5, Reloop HiFi introduces a turntable controlled by hail, with direct drive that meets the highest sound requirements. Using our technology, we have developed a new HiFi turntable, which with its technical complexity is the best in its category.
Powerful DC motor & low resonance platter
The brushless direct drive motor ensures powerful and stable rotation, and the TURN5 is produced using precision casting techniques. A rubber damping base in the rotating plate system eliminates any unwanted resonance, and the accompanying 5mm rubber coating also protects against vibrations, ensuring nothing hinders the exceptional sound reproduction.
High-quality controls and connections
The three motor speeds can be selected with convenient controls on the top at 33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm. This means that the TURN5 can also play old shellac records with a corresponding mono system (not included). Next to it is the large start/stop button. The general securing mechanism (SME) on the tonearm allows for quick and easy headshell replacement. Additionally, with the provided counterweight, a whole range of cartridges can be used, as it supports heavier tracking forces. At the back of the TURN5, there is a gold-plated pair of phono outputs (RCA) with a separate grounding connection to avoid any interference. The terminal for all cable connections has been placed in a recess to provide as much protection as possible.
Static balanced S-tone arm & Hi-tech Ortofon cartridge system
The TURN5 uses a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm. It is provided with a hydraulic lift and anti-skate adjustment, with convenient height adjustment of the tonearm with VTA lock. This ensures optimal performance of the cartridge and accurate reproduction of the recording medium. The provided Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is already pre-mounted on a headshell and stands out thanks to its elliptical cut with stunning sound quality.
