This is the first volume of the complete and authoritative literary edition of all published and unpublished works of the Poet. It is being realized under the supervision of the "Kostis Palamas Foundation" and with the sponsorship of the "Kostis Palamas House of Letters."

The structure of the edition is as follows: Poetry, Short Stories, Theatre, Translation, Criticism, Correspondence. Each volume will have a tripartite structure: the texts (with a collation of all previous editions, publications, and manuscripts), a scholarly commentary, and indexes.

It is estimated that the project will cover 50 volumes, and the timeline expects the completion of the publication in 5-6 years. This work, of great literary and national significance, has been undertaken by a team of philologists, whose names are listed here alphabetically: Than. Agathos, Dim. Angelatos, G. Andreimenos, L. Varelás, Pant. Voutouris, Evr. Garandoudis, K. Yavis, Mary Dimaki-Zora, Despina Douka, Ger. Zoras, Nik. Kalospyros, Konstantinos Kasinis, Anna Katsiyanni, Eratosthenis Kapsomenos, Katerina Kostiou, Giannis Xourias, Theodosis Pylarinos, Polyanthi Tsigkou, Maria Tsoutsoura, Kostas Chatziantoniou.

With this publication, the entire work of the Poet will be made available for research and modern Greek education for the first time, which for half a century was at the center of modern Greek intellectual life, introduced to Hellenism the currents and trends of world spirit, renewed tradition, created the modern poetic language, and was the father of modern Greek poetry.
