In our country, the need for a comprehensive presentation of greenhouse topics is evident. This book attempts to contribute to this field with the ambition of providing students, as well as anyone interested, with the necessary information that will help in understanding the issues of greenhouse construction, equipment, and operation.
Throughout the text, several mathematical expressions are used. These are considered essential as tools through which a problem is quantified and specific solutions are obtained, but also as a persuasive language that facilitates the qualitative analysis of the problem.
However, it is possible for the reader, who is not familiar with mathematical formulas, to follow and understand all the topics discussed even without engaging with the mathematical formulas, because in all cases and throughout the text, verbal interpretations of the topics are also provided.
