    A whisky with a very rich body but much more restrained in flavors compared to the Uigeadail (I compare it to this one since it's from the same distillery and similar price). Intense alcoholic strength and very deep and "dark" smokiness. What makes it unique for me is a strange balance of pine forest and seaweed flavors that I haven't encountered in any other Islay Malt.

    Conclusion. Between this and the Uigeadail, I would choose the Uigeadail. Much more complex and impressive flavors due to the Sherry. For someone who has already tried the Uigeadail and is a fan of smoky whiskies, it's worth trying the Corryvreckan as well. Fewer flavors but equally high quality.

    Only for lovers of intensely smoky. This one is no joke. The body is so rich in 'chewing' degree. The flavors evolve with every sip and the aftertaste has such duration that personally I rarely encounter in a drink.
    The alcohol is at a 'disappointing' level for those accustomed to 40%.
