The authors have found that frequent errors in diagnosis and the lack of effective treatment are not due to the absence of specialized knowledge on the part of the physician, but rather to the lack of a framework of principles for practicing medicine and a set of basic knowledge applicable across specialties and specific conditions, as well as the absence of collaboration between doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

The authors believe that by proposing a framework of selected medical knowledge and methodologies applicable for all specialties, they will contribute to increasing the chances of accurate diagnosis and effective treatment and will aid in the necessary collaboration between doctors and pharmacists, as well as with other healthcare professionals in caring for the health of the population.
