Unlike the four seasons, the months of the year are rarely personified in global iconography.
However, Arkas decided to personify them and depict them as mischievous and foul-mouthed teenagers. Like high school students, who, on the sidelines of the lesson, tease each other, competing to see who can come up with the most offensive taunt. And the taunts initially target the different one, February, who is short because he has the fewest days. However, he proves to be very capable in defending against bullying, so much so that he becomes the master of the game of witty remarks.
Childish skirmishes with pointed, often harsh and crude remarks, and a politically ‘incorrect’ humor that nonetheless hides something of the innocence of our high school years!
And it is this innocence, evident in the sly little face of February, that makes him one of Arkas' most popular and lovable characters.
