Review this product
  • I bought it to replace my older steel mate, because after years both remote controls had broken down, they had oxidized inside due to moisture... Because I had it in my pocket while I was working.

Fortunately, the alarm's plug was the same as the older model, so the new alarm fit directly in the place of the old one.
The alarm is good, it doesn't draw excessive current nor does it drain the battery, only a few mA, which is a negligible amount. Only if you leave your vehicle stationary for months will it cause you a problem.
Even if you don't use your vehicle often and make short trips, e.g. once a week, the total current it will have consumed is practically negligible and won't cause electrical problems.
It only draws current if the alarm goes off frequently, then it sends power to the siren and the indicators... But that's the same for all alarms...

    The sensitivity is adjustable...
The alarm volume is quite strong and its functionality is very good.

Installation is easy, I did it myself... I haven't connected it to cut off the engine's power supply (ECU)... I have just connected the indicators and the siren... And personally, I wouldn't recommend cutting the engine's power supply and passing it through the alarm.

Generally a good alarm, many people have it, it stands out by the characteristic sound it makes when it goes off.
The alarm locks automatically if it is accidentally deactivated, and to unlock it completely, you have to start the vehicle with the alarm deactivated.

Overall, it hasn't caused me any problems... The difference with the older model is that the LED on the remote is red and not blue, and the remotes are matte and not glossy colored.

Overall, a very good value for money choice that many people trust.

If you want an alarm with remote notification, there is a model at €200 that emits a signal like airtags and is picked up by nearby phones etc. and notifies you via the app about the approximate location of your vehicle.

  • The remote control drains the batteries (it takes 3 round ones) within 2 weeks. It's 7 in the morning and I can't unlock the machine to go to work. I just ripped them out, broke them to vent my frustration, and threw them in the trash. Not even recycling

Instructions - Installation Tips (Updated 19/4/22): The booklet shows 3 connection methods and you will find the appropriate one by looking at and measuring the pins of the wiring plug. (e.g. in my case, the correct one was the 3rd to last diagram because in the plug there were 8 wires, but the 2 red ones ended up in one pin, so the plug had only 7 pins!) Caution! In the alarm plug, connect the RED Power + wire (preceded by a fuse) and the BLACK Ground - wire either directly to the battery or on the motorcycle wiring, after making sure that opening and closing the motorcycle key does not disconnect the wiring from the + - loads! Also, be careful as many frames are not properly grounded and such alarms can block unexpectedly! (Connect directly to the battery!)
This model does not have Remote Start but it has an Immobilizer where you will insert the PINK and GRAY wires into the wiring of the side stand switch (if available). You will connect the ORANGE wire with a wire from the wiring that carries power + when you turn the motorcycle key to the ON position.

DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility for the entire preceding text and your actions, and I urge you to confirm my assumptions with a multimeter and consult a professional installer.

Many problems with the sensitivity of the shock detector.
The remote controls are affected by other frequencies and get blocked.
    Non-existent technical support.
    Stay away

Very weak sound, only the beep it makes when it is turned on or off is loud. When it starts to hit, it sounds like a doorbell.
