Description

Digital thermometer with antimicrobial copper alloy on the measuring tip and battery cover. It combines fast measurement, a flexible tip, a large backlit display, a fever alarm and memory, and can be used orally, rectally or under the arm by following the appropriate method and measurement time.

Proper Use for Reliable Results

Accurate measurement depends on the sensor’s contact with the body and the time required for the measurement site.

  • Oral (≈ 10 sec): Avoid hot or cold foods/drinks for 10 minutes beforehand. Place the sensor under the tongue, to the left or right of the base, ensuring good contact. Keep your mouth closed and breathe through your nose.
  • Rectal (≈ 10 sec): Use a suitable sensor cover and lubricant. Carefully insert the sensor about 1–2 cm, without applying pressure.
  • Armpit (at least 5 minutes): The armpit must be dry. Place the sensor in the center of the armpit, in direct contact with the skin, and hold your arm firmly against your body. Wait at least 5 minutes, even if the thermometer beeps sooner. 

Important: The “10 sec” time does not apply to all measurement sites. For armpit measurements, follow the longer time specified in the instructions for use. Readings from different body sites cannot be compared directly.

    We have it for three years and it is the best thermometer. With mercury the deviation is about 1 degree. It is very fast and reliable. The Omron MC 280B gives the same measurement, just a few seconds later.

    Not even half a star!!! If you have money to throw away, go ahead and buy it!!! I can't even find the receipt because it also has a scary warranty that I'm afraid to return it with!!! We bought it for little M and paid 10 euros for it, supposedly very good, but I can't tell if it has a fever... Withdraw it from the market, especially if it's for babies, it's dangerous!!!!!
