If you want to completely close it, you press the middle button on top and it closes completely, and you use the corner button only for the light. I don't know in the long run if it will cause any problems, so far it's okay for the price of 11 euros. I think I'm good for more, it's not worth it. The hands are phosphorescent and the numbers too, but they only glow for a few seconds, it's not like the very old watches that would glow all night on their own, but the light is very useful, it's enough to be able to see it at night by pressing the button.
