The present book was written to meet the needs of teaching the subject "Anatomy" to students of the Medical and Dental Schools, aiming to serve as a valuable tool and significant resource for the student in the context of studying the circulatory (cardiovascular) system.
This book is the second volume of the manuscript "Descriptive and Applied Anatomy". The need for writing such a work arose from the observation that the existing textbooks since the time of the late Professor of Anatomy G. Sklavounos (1938) are concise and do not meet the modern needs for the direct correlation of the taught Anatomy of the Circulatory System with the diagnostic problems of the examined patients.
