Even though the Listen Pro are closed-back headphones, they produce a very lively sound, giving the impression of open-back headphones while still providing the isolation of closed-back headphones.

Very different monitors from what I was used to.
I got them in a bundle with Focal Shape Twins, and now I really understand what Focal sound means. Quite a lot of low mids, maybe more than my taste, but REALLY very detailed, with a huge range, which surprisingly (or not) in my opinion loses in center imaging compared even to lower fidelity headphones like the ATH m50x.
On the positive side: My mixes have skyrocketed, AND thanks to these headphones, I notice that the sound translation from these headphones to any other device (yes, we’re talking about club sound, and the well-known "car check" etc.) is MANY classes better than mixes with only headphone check on the m50x.
Although they seem sensitive, at the same time they don’t give me the impression that they will break soon. They are definitely not relaxing but not completely tiring either, maybe just enough to make you take a break from mixing.
Their sound is brutally honest (I believe), which leads us to
The negatives: Due to the relentless truth that I believe these headphones present, maybe to an underwhelming level, many times you get "disappointed" even listening to the best tracks on the planet. For me, it’s borderline negative, as a music producer and music fan, but I believe that this exact honesty in their sound gives the ability for better mixes.
I won’t add the complete lack of isolation despite their closed-back approach, as I feel these headphones are aimed at mixing and not tracking.

Τα πηρα σε bundle με Focal Shape Twins, και πραγματικα τωρα καταλαβαινω τι σημαινει Focal sound. Για μένα ειναι οριακά αρνητικό, ως music producer και music fan, αλλά πιστεύω ότι αυτή ακριβώς η ειλικρίνεια στον ήχο τους δινει τη δυνατότητα για καλύτερες μιξεις.
Δεν θα προσθέσω την παντελή έλλειψη isolation παρά την κλειστού τύπου προσέγγισή τους, καθώς νιώθω ότι τα ακουστικά στοχεύουν σε mixing και όχι tracking

The truth is, even though I have had them for about 4 months now, I'm not entirely sure what to tell you. I use them on the air of a radio station. They have quite a bit of bass, not annoyingly so. Sometimes, you hear sounds that even the person playing the instrument couldn't hear. They require some getting used to. I had AKG 141/171/220/271 before.

In the end, no, I can't get used to them on the air of a station. Obviously, for tracking in a studio they are okay, but not for being on air for 8 hours. They led me to wrong decisions when I wanted to bring a voice to its full potential. I got the AKG K702 and calmed down.

Τελικά όχι, δεν μπορώ να τα συνηθίσω στον αέρα ενός σταθμού.
Προφανώς για tracking σε στούντιο είναι οκ, αλλά όχι για να είσαι 8 ώρες αέρα. Εμένα με οδηγούσαν σε λάθος αποφάσεις όταν ήθελα να φέρω μια φωνή στα μέτρα της . Πήρα τα
AKG K702 και ηρέμησα.

I got them in a bundle with Focal Shape Twins, and now I really understand what Focal sound means. Although they seem sensitive, at the same time they don’t give me the impression that they will break soon. They are definitely not relaxing but not completely tiring either, maybe just enough to make you take a break from mixing.

The best headphones for mixing. I found bad reviews because they say they are too clear in their sound or their ear pads wear out easily. Funny things.
Τα καλύτερα ακουστικά για μίξη. Βρήκα άσχημες κριτικές γιατί λένε είναι πολύ καθαρά στον ήχο τους ή χαλάνε εύκολα τα μαξιλαράκια τους. Αστεία πράγματα.
The truth is, even though I have had them for about 4 months now, I'm not entirely sure what to tell you. I use them on the air of a radio station. They have quite a bit of bass, not annoyingly so. Sometimes, you hear sounds that even the person playing the instrument couldn't hear. They require some getting used to. I had AKG 141/171/220/271 before.

In the end, no, I can't get used to them on the air of a station. Obviously, for tracking in a studio they are okay, but not for being on air for 8 hours. They led me to wrong decisions when I wanted to bring a voice to its full potential. I got the AKG K702 and calmed down.
Η αλήθεια είναι, ότι ενώ τα χω τώρα περίπου 4 μήνες, δεν είμαι απόλυτα σίγουρος για το τι να σας πω. Εγώ τα χρησιμοποιώ στον αέρα ραδιοφωνικού σταθμού. Έχουν αρκετά μπάσα Όχι ενοχλητικά.
κάποιες φορές, ακούς ήχους τους οποίους ούτε αυτός που έπαιζε το όργανο δεν το άκουγε.!!!
Θέλουν μια συνήθεια.
Είχα πριν AKG 141 / 171 /220 / 271 .

Τελικά όχι, δεν μπορώ να τα συνηθίσω στον αέρα ενός σταθμού.
Προφανώς για tracking σε στούντιο είναι οκ, αλλά όχι για να είσαι 8 ώρες αέρα. Εμένα με οδηγούσαν σε λάθος αποφάσεις όταν ήθελα να φέρω μια φωνή στα μέτρα της . Πήρα τα
AKG K702 και ηρέμησα.
Everything is good, but with the pillows breaking so easily (and the replacements costing 35€!!!) you're afraid to wear them...!
ολα καλα, αλλα με τα μαξιλαρακια να χαλανε τοσο ευκολα (και τα ανταλλακτικα στα 35€!!!) φοβασαι να τα φορεσεις...!

πολύ καλά για κάποιον που ακούει μουσική με κινητο κλπ κ θελει κ να μιλάει. δεν κάνουν για επεξεργασία μουσικής δεν είναι ακουστικά επαγγελματικής χρήσης
