Description

Description

Automatic charger, battery maintainer 6V and 12V, suitable for lead-acid batteries of Wet, MF, VRLA, AGM & GEL types. The Minwa charger features an 8-step function with 6V and 12V voltage, ideal for charging or maintaining batteries such as those of motorcycles, cars, boats, trucks, etc.

With this automatic selection charger, you can keep your batteries in their original condition, recover discharged batteries, charge in cold weather, save and extend your battery's life.

Additionally, it is fully waterproof with an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes.

3 operating modes

  • Mode 1: Condition for small 12V batteries with a charging current of 0.8A (e.g., motorcycles)
  • Mode 2: Condition for larger 12V batteries with a charging current of 4A (e.g., cars)
  • Mode 3: Condition for larger batteries (>12A) 12V with a charging current of 4A in low temperatures (very cold)

If the charger detects that the battery is 6V when connected, it automatically changes the voltage and provides a maximum current of 0.8A.

What does it mean that the Minwa CC015A is a battery charger?

The battery charger is used to charge the car battery, so it remains in good condition and provides the necessary power for the electrical systems and the engine to operate. This is important, especially if the car is not used for long periods of time.

Therefore, it cannot be used as a jump starter as it has only a charging function.

Perfect for up to 6V. Only for motorcycles! Not suitable for cars. Although it mentions 12V, when I tried to charge the car, it immediately went to 6V instead of the 12V that the battery is. It's great only for your motorcycle!

  • Basically, I don't know if it's my own problematic... but the charger has a dismissive behavior towards slightly discharged batteries (12V). We're not talking about one battery, but no matter how many I try... it does the same thing. The same applies to 6V batteries. Imagine this is the second one I'm getting, since the first one did the same thing, it seemed problematic to me and I returned it.

On the other hand, a CTEK charger that I have (50€), charges the same 12V batteries normally. I don't have an opinion on lithium batteries.

It has very low power (1.5A). It is not suitable for a car (unless you charge it all night). I bought it for my motorcycle's lithium battery and I am very satisfied
