The Single Malt whisky from the Glenfiddich label, originating from Scotland, is produced by a single distillery and uses exclusively malted barley, yeast, and water as raw materials.
This is the second release in Glenfiddich's experimental series, for which 20 Malt Masters collaborated, hence the name XX. Each of them selected a distillate from the thousands maturing in the distillery's barrels, and then Malt Master Brian Kinsman blended the 20 distillates to create this particular whisky, characterized by fruity aromas of apple and pear, vanilla, golden sugar, and licorice. On the palate, it has a smooth texture and depth of flavor, while the finish is long-lasting with sweet notes of oak.
