Having wiped out the human race from the face of the Earth, Erekozi, the Eternal Champion, believes he will live happily near his beloved Eldren.

But Fate has other plans for him - swept away by the winds of destiny, he will find himself in some dying world of ice, lit by a tiny dim sun that seems to have stopped in the sky.

He is now Ulrik Skarsol, the Lord of the Southern Ice, and with his chariot pulled by polar bears, he will arrive in Rovernark, the City of Obsidian, to unwittingly get entangled in a terrible war between the last inhabitants of the Earth and the mysterious and invincible Silver Warriors.

Trapped in this terrible world, the Eternal Champion must once again grasp the Black Sword, the insatiable weapon that never distinguishes between enemies and friends.
